Frequently asked questions
Clear answers before the character moves.
Ownership, animation, virtual humans, continuity, production, and what Shinobi Strategy can deliver today.
01What does Shinobi Strategy do?+
Shinobi Strategy builds and directs persistent brand characters. That includes existing mascots, new characters, stylized virtual humans, campaign films, recurring formats, localization, and the system that keeps every appearance consistent.
02Do we need an existing mascot?+
No. You can bring an existing mascot or start with a new character. Both paths produce a Character Core with identity, voice, behavior, worlds, rules, and history.
03Can the character be human?+
Yes. A virtual human can be built as an ownable brand character with a fixed face, wardrobe, voice, personality, performance range, and usage rules.
04What animation styles can you produce?+
Current Studio work covers character-led 2D, stylized 3D, stop motion, mixed media, virtual-human performance, commercials, social films, explainers, and recurring short formats.
05How do you keep a character consistent?+
Every production starts from the Character Core. Character Match checks the face, proportions, wardrobe, voice, behavior, and other named rules before an output enters the approved library.
06What is the difference between the platform and Studio?+
The platform is the self-serve directing environment. Studio is the done-for-you service for strategy, character development, directing, production, localization, and ongoing operations.
07Who owns the character and finished work?+
You own your Character Core and approved brand assets. Specific third-party rights, talent terms, music, and usage windows are documented in the relevant production agreement.
08Can you work with our agency or production team?+
Yes. The Character Core gives partners a shared source of truth. Your team can work in the platform, follow the exported rules, or collaborate with Shinobi Strategy Production.
09How does voice work?+
A voice profile defines age impression, energy, pace, accent, humor, authority, and prohibited delivery. Local variants preserve the same personality rather than replacing it with a different character.
10How does localization work?+
Dialogue, references, units, dates, calls to action, and voice are adapted for the market. The character identity remains fixed.
11What does review include?+
Review covers the creative brief, character match, performance, continuity, format, language, and delivery requirements. Approved versions remain attached to the character history.
12What files can we export?+
Approved image, video, audio, and language versions are organized by character, campaign, format, market, version, and approval state.
13How long does a character build take?+
A standard existing-mascot build usually takes two to three weeks after complete source artwork and brand guidance arrive. New character development and larger productions are scoped separately.
14How is pricing structured?+
Self-serve access is monthly. Studio engagements are scoped around character development, production complexity, formats, markets, and cadence.
15What is available now?+
Character systems, short-form character production, campaign assets, social series, voice, localization, and ongoing character operations are available now. Larger episodic work, games, interactive characters, and broad 3D programs are future directions, not current promises.
